How to make a booking for a party or one-off event

Choose Your Space

First of all, please take a look at our Facilities to see which space would be most suitable for your event.

Top tip: we advise using the Main Hall or Taylor Hall for parties!

Check Availability

Next, please check the Calendar (links to external website) to see if the hall and date you would like are available

Make a Booking

And finally, send an email to info@cobhamvillagehall.com stating the type of event you wish to hold, which hall, and the date and time you would like to hire - allowing for all setting up and cleaning and clearing away afterwards

Please note the office is manned on a part time basis however, we do aim to get back to you within 24 hours

Important Hire Information

Cobham Village Hall is available for hire at an hourly rate as shown in the Hire Charges PDF document below.

GENERAL HIRE INFORMATION

  • Cobham Village Hall address - Lushington Drive, Cobham KT11 2LU.
     

  • Day time hire; 8.00am – 6.00pm. Evening hire; 6.00pm – 11.30pm.
     

  • Charity rate refers to charitable organisations or those considered by the Trustees to affect the community. Contact the hall to see if this rate applies.
     

  • Hire charges are invoiced in advance; bookings are not confirmed until full payment has been received.
     

  • The hall has a Defibrillator located in the foyer, in the alcove between the Ladies and Gents toilets.
     

  • Use of the kitchen is included in the hire of the Main Hall or Club Room (if both Halls are booked the kitchen may require sharing).
     

  • Children’s parties can be booked for a morning or afternoon, four hour, slot and are charged at a single party rate - 10.00am – 2.00pm or 2.00pm – 6.00pm
     

  • Unfortunately, the hall cannot cater for teenage or 21st parties.
     

  • A refundable reservation/damage deposit will be required for party bookings. Reparation costs and cleaning charges at the caretaker’s hourly rate will be deducted if deemed necessary.
     

  • ALL breakages must be reported and paid for.
     

  • Cobham Village Hall is hired on a D.I.Y basis, although it may be possible to arrange caretaker assistance in certain circumstances.
    ​

  • Sound systems, projector and screen and glasses are available for hire at an additional charge.​

MAXIMUM PERMITTED NUMBER OF PEOPLE PER ROOM
 

  • Main Hall: 250 standing, 150 seated in rows, 90 seated at tables (not including the stage)

  • Taylor Hall: 150 standing, 80 seated in rows, 65 seated at tables

  • Club Room: 90 standing, 45 seated

  • Committee Room: 65 standing, 34 seated
